The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 in its long columns of flames. 9
True are the words of God the Almighty.
