"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
