Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say to them (O Muhammad SAW) "Travel in the land and see how has been the end of the criminals (those who denied Allah's Messengers and disobeyed Allah)." 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
