۞ [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship 22 Other than God," (the angels will be told), "then show them the way to Hell, 23 and halt them [there]!" [And then,] behold, they shall be asked, 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 Nay, but this day they make full submission. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith! 29 We had no power over you. You were a rebellious people, 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant 35 and would say: "Shall we, then, give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Lo! (now) verily ye taste the painful doom - 38 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do - 39 Save the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 44 Cups of wine will be presented to them in rounds, from a spring flowing in front of them. 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 They will go to one another asking each other questions. 50 A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] 51 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that 52 after we die and become dust and bones, we shall be brought to judgement?'" 53 Then he will say, "Shall we look for him?" 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 If it had not been for the blessing of my Lord, I would also have been taken to Hell." 57 (Another will say:)"Is it true, we are not going to die 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For the like of this then let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 for, behold, it is a tree that grows in the very heart of the blazing fire [of hell,] 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on the top of that they will be given boiling water to drink so that it becomes a mixture (of boiling water and Zaqqum in their bellies). 67 They can only return to hell. 68 They found their fathers had gone astray; 69 so they are rushing to follow in their footsteps. 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 And assuredly We sent among them warners. 72 Look, then how was the end of those who had been warned, 73 Not so the chosen servants of God. 74
