We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
