The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
