3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113
