The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 Has taught the Qur’an to His beloved Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him). 2 He created man 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; 5 And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him). 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 that you may not transgress in the balance, 8 And observe the weight with equity, and make not deficient the balance. 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees sheathed. 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? 13 He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. 14 And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke: 15 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 18 He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: 22 Which, of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 23 And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains. 24 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 25
