Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 It will be like molted brass which will boil in the bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
