AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the mountain Tur, and brought him close to reveal Our secret. 52 And We bestowed on him, out of Our mercy, his brother Harun, a prophet. 53 Commemorate Ishmael in the Book. He was true of his promise, and a messenger, a prophet. 54 He used to command his people to offer prayer and give charity, and was liked by his Lord. 55 And mention Idris in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet, 56 whom We exalted onto a lofty station. 57 These are they whom God has blessed among the Prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those We bore with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and chose. When the signs of the All-merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ And after them came the unworthy successors who squandered prayer and pursued their own desires, so they will soon encounter the forest of Gai in hell. 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 In the gardens of Eden promised by Ar-Rahman to His creatures in the unknown (future). Verily His promise will come to pass. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain word, but they shall hear only peace; and therein they shall have their provision morning and evening. 62 It is the Paradise that We will bequeath to those among Our bondmen who remain pious. 63 (Gabriel said:) 'We do not descend except at the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that lies between. Your Lord does not forget. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Therefor, worship thou Him and be thou steadfast in His service. Knowest thou one that can be named along with Him? 65
