We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
