And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 the Gardens of Eden whose gates shall be open to them, 50 Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink; 51 ۞ And with them will be virgins of refraining looks and of equal age. 52 This is the promise being given to you, for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 and other such torments. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
