۞ Many as the angels be in heaven their intercession will not avail in the least without God's permission for whomsoever He please and approve. 26 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter give the angels names of females. 27 They have no knowledge to base this on. They merely indulge in guess-work which can never replace the truth. 28 So turn thou from him who turns away from Our Remembrance, and desires only the present life. 29 That is all they have of knowledge. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His Path, and those who are guided. 30 And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, that He may requite those who do evil with that which they have done (i.e. punish them in Hell), and reward those who do good, with what is best (i.e. Paradise). 31 Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil. 32
