Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
