Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8
