The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
