Noah (Nooh)
28 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Bee (Al-nahl) before Abraham (Ibrahim)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
We sent Noah to his People (with the Command): "Do thou warn thy People before there comes to them a grievous Penalty." 1 [Noah] said, "My people! I am but a plain warner to you, 2 "That you should worship Allah (Alone), be dutiful to Him, and obey me, 3 so that He may forgive you some of your sins, and grant you respite until a term known [to Him alone]: but, behold, when the term appointed by God does come, it can never be put back - if you but knew it!" 4 He said: "O Lord, I called my people night and day, 5 But the more I called, they only ran the farther away. 6 And whenever I have called them that Thou mayest forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, cover themselves with their garments, and persist and are puffed up with pride: 7 And lo! I have called unto them aloud, 8 Then surely I spoke to them in public and I spoke to them in secret: 9 I said to them: “Ask forgiveness from your Lord; surely He is Most Forgiving. 10 "'He will send rain to you in abundance; 11 ‘And will aid you with wealth and sons, and will create gardens for you and cause rivers to flow for you.’ 12 ‘What is the matter with you, that you do not desire honour from Allah?’ 13 And surely He hath created you by stages. 14 Do you not see how God has fashioned seven skies one above the other, 15 setting in them the moon as a light and the sun as a lantern? 16 God produced you from the earth like a vegetable growth; 17 And thereafter He will cause you to return thereinto, and He will bring you forth a forthbringing. 18 And Allah hath made the earth unto you an expanse. 19 "'That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.'" 20

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
