And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night.
