The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed); 2 and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands). 5 The Day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion, 6 followed by the succeeding, 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 When we have become bones decayed! 11 They will say: 'Then we are returned lost' 12 It will only be a single blast, 13 And lo! they all shall appear on the surface. 14 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 15 When his Lord called to him in Tuwa's holy vale? 16 'Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent. 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 Moses showed him the great miracle 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 and hastily turned away, 22 and gathered his people and declared: 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 you pay attention 25 In this, behold, there is a lesson indeed for all who stand in awe [of God]. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
