God settles those who leave their homes for His cause after having suffered injustice, in a prosperous dwelling in this life and greater rewards will be theirs in the life to come. Would that they knew this. 41 even such men as are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 42 Before you also the messengers We sent were but [mortal] men to whom We vouchsafed revelation. Ask the People of the Book, if you do not know. 43 (We sent them) with Clear Signs and Books of dark prophecies; and We have sent down unto thee (also) the Message; that thou mayest explain clearly to men what is sent for them, and that they may give thought. 44 Can, then, they who devise evil schemes ever feel sure that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that suffering will not befall them without their perceiving whence [it came]? 45 Or, that he will not take hold of them in their going to and fro! so that they cannot escape. 46 Or that He may not call them to account by a process of slow wastage - for thy Lord is indeed full of kindness and mercy. 47 Do they not see the shadows of all things God has created incline to the right and the left, bowing in obeisance to God? 48 All things that move on the earth and in the heavens, and the angels, bow in homage to God, and do not behave with pride. 49 They bear upon themselves the fear of their Lord, and do only what they are commanded. ۩ 50
