The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 and those that draw out violently, 2 and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and 3 Then those who are foremost going ahead, 4 by those that direct an affair! 5 On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], 6 And there will follow it the next blast. 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 and they say, "That indeed would be a losing return." 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 When, behold, they will be in the (full) awakening (to Judgment). 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:- 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High". 24 So God seized him with the chastisement of the Last World and the First. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
