Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 We know best who deserves greater suffering in hell fire. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
