Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 and ease my task for me. 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He replied: 'Moses, your request is granted. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 Place him in a chest and throw it into the river, and thereupon the river will cast him ashore, [and] one who is an enemy unto Me and an enemy unto him will adopt him. "And [thus early] I spread Mine Own love over thee - and [this] in order that thou might be formed under Mine eye. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 Go, both of you, unto Pharaoh. Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds). 43 “And speak to him courteously, that perhaps he may ponder or have some fear.” 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 So, go to him, and say: 'Behold, both of us are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not chastise them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance. 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 [Moses] answered: "Knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer [alone, and is laid down] in His decree; my Sustainer does not err, and neither does He forget." 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
