۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
