The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
