The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
