AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 So when they had gone beyond that place, Moosa said to his assistant, “Bring our breakfast we have indeed faced great exertion in this journey of ours.” 62 He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!" 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 and there they found one of Our servants upon whom We had bestowed Our mercy, and to whom We had imparted a special knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: "May I attend upon you that you may instruct me in the knowledge you have been taught of the right way?" 66 He said, “You will never be able to patiently stay with me.” 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 Musa said: thou wilt find me, if Allah will, patient, and shall not disobey thee in any affair. 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
