And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 “Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
