Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Has the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)? 1 On that Day faces shall be humbled, 2 Labouring (hard), weary,- 3 roasting at a scorching Fire 4 Made to drink water from the boiling hot spring. 5 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' 6 Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger. 7 (Other) faces, that Day, will be joyful, 8 Well-pleased because of their striving, 9 They shall be in a Garden lofty: 10 wherein thou wilt hear no empty talk. 11 In it there shall be a flowing spring, 12 Therein will be thrones raised high, 13 Goblets set, 14 well-placed cushions, 15 And rich carpets spread. 16 What, do they not consider how the camel was created, 17 and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, 18 how the mountains are set firm, 19 And at the earth, how it is spread out? 20 So remind them (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), you are only a one who reminds. 21 thou art not charged to oversee them. 22 But whoso is averse and disbelieveth, 23 In which case he will be punished by God with the severest punishment. 24 To Us they will all return. 25 and then it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
