Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by what you see 38 and what you do not see 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
