Say (O Muhammad): "O people! I have been sent to you only as a plain warner (before the Doom strikes you)." 49 Then (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have forgiveness and an honorable sustenance. 50 whereas those who strive against Our messages, seeking to defeat their purpose - they are destined for the blazing fire. 51 Whenever We sent any messenger or prophet before you, and he recited anything [of Our revelation], Satan tampered with it. But God abrogates Satan's interjections and then He firmly reaffirms His revelations. God is all knowing and all wise. 52 [And He allows doubts to arise] so that He might cause whatever aspersion Satan may cast [against His prophets] to become a trial for all in whose hearts is disease and all whose hearts are hardened: for, verily, all who are [thus] sinning [against themselves] are most deeply in the wrong. 53 and so that those to whom knowledge has been given will know that this is the truth from your Lord and so believe in it and that their hearts will be humble to Him. Indeed, Allah will surely guide those who believe to a Straight Path. 54 But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day. 55 The kingdom on that day shall be Allah's; He will judge between them; so those who believe and do good will be in gardens of bliss. 56 And (as for) those who disbelieve in and reject Our communications, these it is who shall have a disgraceful chastisement. 57
