And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people - 10 and ask them, "Why do you not fear God?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 They hold a sin against me, and I fear that they will kill me' 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 Send with us the Children of Isra'il? 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst, and thou wast one of the ingrates. 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 Then I fled for fear of you. Then my Lord bestowed wisdom and authority on me and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Fir'awn said: and what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 He said: The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure. 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 (The Pharaoh) said (to his nobles): "Your apostle who has been sent to you, is certainly mad." 27 Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!" 28 Fir'awn said: if thou wilt take a god other than me, I shall surely place thee among the prisoners. 29 [Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest?" 30 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Bring it forth then, if you are of the truthful!" 31 He cast down his staff and thereupon it was a clear serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand, and it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
