Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
