THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
