We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
