Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Food of the sinner. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
