Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 And We send down water as a blessing from the sky, and grow gardens with it and the grain for harvest, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
