HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
