A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). 39 and a multitude of the later people. 40 And those of the left hand, how wretched are those of the left hand! 41 They will live amid the scorching, 42 and the shadows of black smoke 43 Neither cool nor pleasant. 44 Indeed they were among favours before this. 45 and had persisted in the Great Sin. 46 ever saying, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 47 (We) and our fore-fathers of yore?” 48 Tell them, (O Prophet): “The earlier ones and the later ones 49 Are going to be assembled on the appointed time of a Day Known. 50 Then lo! ye, the erring, the deniers, 51 you will indeed have to taste of the tree of deadly fruit, 52 "Then you will fill your bellies therewith, 53 Then drink over it of boiling water; 54 Lapping it up like female camels raging of thirst with disease." 55 That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense. 56 We created you, why will you not believe! 57 Have ye seen that which ye emit? 58 did you create it or did We? 59 It is We Who have ordained death among you, and We have not been beaten 60 from changing the nature of your existence and bringing you into being [anew] in a manner [as yet] unknown to you. 61 You have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not take heed? 62 So what is your opinion regarding what you sow? 63 Is it ye that cause it to grow, or are We the Cause? 64 If We willed, surely We would make it chaff, so that ye would be left wondering. 65 Verily we are undone. 66 Aye! we are deprived! 67 Have you ever considered the water which you drink? 68 Is it you who brought it down from the clouds or is it We Who brought it down? 69 If We willed, surely We would make it brackish. Wherefore give ye not thanks? 70 Have you thought about the fire you kindle? 71 Is it you who have produced its tree or is it We who have produced it? 72 We have made it a Reminder (for the Hell-fire, in the Hereafter); and an article of use for the travellers (and all the others, in this world). 73 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
