۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
