Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 storming tempestuously 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 The living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
