The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
