He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and then turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 Or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him? 4 As to one who regards Himself as self-sufficient, 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified. 7 And as for him who cometh unto thee running, 8 And whereas he fears, 9 From him thou art distracted. 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 and whosoever wills, shall remember it. 12 It is set down on honoured pages, 13 Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and pious. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 From what has God created him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 Then, when He will, He bringeth him again to life. 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Then let mankind look at his food - 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 and vines, and reeds, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 and fruit and pastures, 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 The day on which a man shall fly from his brother, 34 Mother and father, 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him. 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust. 40 o'erspread with darkness -- 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
