The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers. 1 Those who humble themselves in their prayers; 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 who give charity, 4 Who guard their sex 5 Except from their wives or the legal bondwomen that they possess, for then there is no blame upon them. 6 But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; 7 (Prosperous are those) who preserve their trusts and pledges 8 And they who carefully maintain their prayers - 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 that shall inherit Paradise; and in it they shall abide for ever. 11 Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; 12 Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 Again, on the Day of Judgment, will ye be raised up. 16 And indeed We have created seven paths above you; and We are not unmindful of the creation. 17 And We sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth; and We are able to take it away. 18 We have established for you gardens of palm trees and vineyards with this water with many fruits for you to consume. 19 and a tree issuing from the Mount of Sinai that bears oil and seasoning for all to eat. 20 And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat, 21 And on them and on the ships you are borne. 22
