Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Who know what you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
