The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Woe to those that deal in fraud,- 1 who demand of other people full measure for themselves, 2 But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. 3 Do those not think that they shall be raised up 4 On a Mighty Day, 5 a day when mankind shall stand before the Lord of all Being? 6 Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjar (disbelievers, sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjin. 7 And how would you know what the Record of the prison-house is? 8 A record [indelibly] inscribed! 9 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 10 Those who belie the Day of Requital. 11 Which none denieth save each criminal transgressor, 12 When Our Verses (of the Quran) are recited to him he says: "Tales of the ancients!" 13 Nay! rather, what they used to do has become like rust upon their hearts. 14 Indeed! On that Day a barrier will be set between them and their Lord, 15 Then, verily they will indeed enter and taste the burning flame of Hell. 16 It will then be said, “This is what you used to deny.” 17 Nay, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin. 18 And what could make thee conceive what that mode most lofty will be? 19 (It is) a marked Book, 20 witnessed by all who have [ever] been drawn close unto God. 21 Verily the pious will be in heaven, 22 resting on couches, looking around. 23 Thou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss. 24 They are made to quaff of a pure drink that is sealed (to others). 25 The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete. 26 With it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim: 27 a source [of bliss] whereof those who are drawn close unto God shall drink. 28 Surely they who are guilty used to laugh at those who believe. 29 And when they passed by them, they winked at one another. 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 and when they saw the believers, they said: “Lo! These are the erring ones”; 32 But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). 33 But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers: 34 On adorned couches, observing. 35 Have the unbelievers been rewarded for what they did? 36
True are the words of God the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
