The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 Now let man but think from what he is created! 5 He was created from a fluid, ejected, 6 Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs, 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 upon the day when the secrets are tried, 9 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And it is no joke. 14 They are hatching up a plot, 15 And I secretly plan. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
