Did you not see those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah? Where are they being diverted? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 They will be told, "This (torment) is the result of your unreasonable happiness on the earth and of your propagation of falsehood. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant." 76 Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
