And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
