He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 when the blind came to him. 2 for how can you know that he might seek to purify himself, 3 or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him. 4 But the self-sufficient, 5 to a rich man, 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 so let those who want to follow its guidance do so. 12 It is set down on honoured pages, 13 Exalted (in dignity), purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Honourable and obedient. 16 Woe to man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 From a single sperm He created, then proportioned him, 19 Then eased the way for him. 20 then He caused him to die and brought him to the grave, 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Then let mankind look at his food - 24 We poured down rain abundantly, 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 We make the grain grow out of it, 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 And dense gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage 31 (These are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry comes, 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 and from his mother and father, 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 On that day, each one has just one issue, which is enough for him. 37 Many faces will that day be bright, 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust. 40 with darkness overspread: 41 These will be the unbelievers, the wicked. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
